Prior to becoming Managing Executive at SEC, Derby served as an elected member of the Board of Trustees of the village of Irvington, New York.

Derby spent a decade in Russia, where he participated in the founding of DialogBank, the first private Russian bank to receive an international banking license. He was named CFO in 1990, served as President and CEO from 1991 to 1997 and as Chairman from 1997 to 1998.

Additionally, Derby founded the first Russian investment firm, Troika Dialog and served as President and CEO from 1991 to 1996 and as Chairman from 1996 to 1997. Prior to his tenure in Russia, Derby was a Corporate Finance Officer at National Westminster Bank from 1985 to 1990, and an Auditor at Chase Manhattan Bank from 1983 to 1985, both in New York City.

The Troika Laundromat

Troika Laundromat was a collection of 70 offshore shell companies whose controllers used them to move billions of dollars of private wealth from Russia to the west. About $4.6bn was paid into the Troika network, and a similar sum was paid out of it. It was operated by staff at an independent arm of the Russian investment bank Troika Dialog, which has now been merged with one of Russia’s two big state-owned banks. The main purpose of the system we’ve named the Troika Laundromat was to channel billions of dollars out of Russia. But it was much more than a money laundering system: The Laundromat allowed Russian oligarchs and politicians to secretly acquire shares in state-owned companies, to buy real estate both in Russia and abroad, to purchase luxury yachts, to hire music superstars for private parties, to pay medical bills, and much more.

To protect themselves, the wealthy people behind this system used the identities of poor people as unwitting signatories in the secretive offshore companies that ran the system.

Ted Gunderson Asking Bill Barr and Robert Swan Mueller III to Look into FBI Obstruction Involving Child Trafficking/Abduction Rings

Ted Gunderson was a former FBI agent who once headed the Los Angeles office and was considered for the job of FBI director. Ted retired from the FBI in about 1980 and set up a private investigation firm that worked on murder and missing persons cases. He is most known for his work related to exposing child sex trafficking and exploitation rings, including the McMartin pre-school case, the Finder's Cult and case of the abduction of Johnny Gosch. Despite Ted's voluminous output of information, including books and videos, and seemingly sincere demeanor, he still has his detractors and their has remained some controversy concerning who he actually worked for and what his true mission was.

Setting Gunderson's sincerity aside, we thought these letters to Bill Barr and Robert Swan Mueller III were noteworthy.

Our Fascination with Gibson Island, Maryland

It was less than a year since Gibson Island was mentioned on the George Webb Youtube Channel and McDuff: Kennedy's Man to Smash the CIA  ( I do not exactly remember the context for the first mention of Gibson Island, but it was likely related to the motivation of Webb’s researchers and associated sleuths to take a closer look at Robert Swan Mueller the 3rd.

Bob Mueller the third, or RSM3, was already deep into his investigation of Trump, when the researchers decided to take a closer look at the guy in an effort to discern his modus operandi and who his co-conspirators might be.

Taking the MSM’s narrative of who Bob Mueller is, one was left with the impression that Bob came from a solidly middle class background, and through perseverance, hard work and a reputation for fairness, rose through the ranks of the DOJ and FBI to eventually become FBI Director under George W. Bush. After only a slightly extra effort to look more closely at RSM3’s biography, it soon became clear that Robert Swan Mueller the 3^rd, his parents, and his extended family belong to a very small and very elite group of Eastern Establishment “Old Money” Families, that are more akin to the extended British Royal family, but with significantly more power and influence, and significantly less necessity and desire to have the public acknowledge their existence, or exist at all. We prefer not to use the term, but the Mueller’s are the “Illuminati” that authors like David Ickes, or Hip Hop Stars like Jay Z and Kanye West have rapped about. Since “Illuminati” is a little too esoteric, and implies dark robes, chanting, and silly initiations, we’ll just say Robert Swan Mueller is a member of the “Deep State”, or one step higher, a “Founding Family member of the Deep State.” (Hillary Clinton is probably also Deep State, but she is a “self made” member, and was not born into her position of power. ie. She is not a Deep State Founder.)

The George Webb followers that decided to take a closer look at Robert Swan Mueller the 3^rd, relatively quickly, noticed that he was a resident of Gibson Island, Maryland, and more interestingly, so was his father (Robert Swan Mueller the 2^nd ) and grandfather (Robert Swan Mueller the 1^st.) That the Mueller’s had a summer residence on an Island in the Chesapeake Bay is not a big deal and does not say much of who the Mueller’s are. The origins and development of Gibson Island say everything about the Mueller’s position in the Deep State’s pyramid shaped, organizational structure, which is at the top.

In the colonial times, up until the 1920’s Gibson Island was a sparsely populated spit of land, just north of Annapolis, and 20 miles south of Baltimore, that was used for farming, or as a base for local fisherman and duck hunters. The modern development of Gibson Island began in 1921 when William Stuart Symington, Jr. of Baltimore, bought the Island for $163,000.00 ($2.3 million in 2019 dollars.)

The development plans included the construction of residential homes (mostly for summer use) a golf club and a yacht club. Gibson Island was marketed as a place where wealthy families from Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia could mingle with their own each summer, play golf and sail the expanses of Chesapeake Bay. As an Island, with only a small causeway from the mainland, Gibson provided the privacy the wealthy elite required, when planning a New World Order.

There are certainly other wealthy enclaves that have (and still do) separate the hoi-polloi from the riff- raff. Between Kennebunkport in Maine, and Jupiter Island, you have Martha’s Vineyard, Naushon Island, Nantucket and the Hamptons, for the Boston and New York crowds, the Northern Jersey Shore towns (Rumson, Monmouth Beach, Spring Lake) for other New Yorkers, Southern Jersey Shore Towns (Atlantic City, Cape May, Love Ladies) for the Philadelphia Main Liners, Hilton Head, Jekyll Island, and various other getaway places by the sea.

Gibson Island seems a little more special compared to the ones mentioned above. A number of the founding families and “early settlers” of Gibson either already were incredibly wealthy, such as the Rockefellers, the extended Dupont family, the Garretts, or had gotten rich from the US entry into World War One. Taking the cynical view, it looks like Gibson Island was developed as a vacation spot for World War 1 war profiteers, which among others, included the Walkers, Symingtons, Bakers and Muellers.

The Perfect Place to Plan a New World Order, and Get Rich Doing It

The conventional wisdom is that World War 1 started because some Serbian killed an Archduke causing all hell to break loose.

The conspiracy wisdom has it that the disciples of Cecil Rhodes secretly pushed the British and Germans into war in order to create a British led worldwide hegemony that would be comprised of its colonies and former colonies, including the United States.

There is no doubt there were a number American anglophiles, eager to assist their British Cousins and there is plenty of literature that goes into the broader idea. Carroll Quigley is considered the most authoritative expert on the subject. What ever the motivations of the British were, there is a decent amount of evidence to suggest US industrialists were eager to profit from the initial conflict (before the US entered) and after the US entered.

The Gibson Island founding families, mentioned above, certainly benefited from the WWI, and a few of us would argue that the money making did not stop after the Great War ended. The early Gibson Islanders, like the DuPonts and Bakers and Muellers made fortunes selling fertilizer chemicals, nitrates, phosphates, etc. used to manufacture ammunition and explosives, for example.

Over the next 100 years, the old idea of War profiteering remained a consistent theme. Those same companies also supplied most of the chemicals for WWII munitions. The various subsidiaries of Standard Oil (Rockefeller family) supplied petrochemicals to the British and Nazi’s, before the USA got involved, and eventually just the allies.

The development of the Gibson Island family businesses gets more interesting after World War 2. Whereas conventional chemicals were supplied to conventional weapons manufacturers before and during WW2, the effort to get American Industries into the nuclear weapons business may well have started on Gibson Island.

We will present more evidence of Gibson Island skulduggery in future posts. The proximity of Gibson Island to Annapolis is one of several interesting angles we plan to follow. It is worth noting that Gibson Island was home to a few Admirals and CIA/OSS characters. It also hosted some important annual conferences on nuclear and related technologies. Finally, its proximity to the Russian Retreat and holding areas for Paperclip Nazi’s makes one wonder how deep the Gibson Island Gang goes.

Mueller's First Cousin (once removed) Probably Helped Plan the JFK Assassination

Richard M. Bissell Jr. headed the CIA's Directorate for Plans from 1958 until President Kennedy fired him, General Charles P. Cabell and Allen Dullesafter the disastrous Bay of Pigs Invasion.

During his service to the CIA, Bissell was instrumental in creating and executing the U2 Spy Plane Program. The U2 Spy Plane was a State of the Art Aircraft capable of flying at over 70,000 feet, which was above the ceiling of known Soviet missiles and interceptors. At the time, the U2 was considered untouchable.

Although the U2 could fly very high, and it's usefulness had proved itself many times during the 1950's and 1960's, the U2, was not a fast plane. By the late 1950's, Richard Bissell of the CIA, the Airforce and Lockheed, had already decided that the U2 would eventually need to be replaced. Development of the SR-71, capable of Mach 3, began at this time as a replacement for the U2.

The need for a new faster plane was enhanced on May 1, 1960. Pilot Francis Gary Powers was deep into Soviet Airspace on that day when a Soviet Surface to Air Missile finally got close enough to knock the Aircraft out of the Air. Gary Powers safely parachuted to the ground where he was taken prisoner by his Soviet hosts and held for approximately 21 months before he was exchanged for a Soviet spy held by the Americans.



Francis Gary Powers was never absolutely convinced a Missile brought down his U2. He had reason to believe sabotage brought his plane down and in later years, considered the possibility the October 1959 defection of Lee Harvey Oswald was connected to his downing some 5 months later.

In 1958 and 1959, Lee Harvey Oswald was a US Marine stationed in Japan. Lee Harvey was a Radar operator while stationed there and the base that he was at was used for the U2 Program. It is generally accepted that Lee new something about the U2 Program as it was his Job.

In 1959, the head of the CIA’s counter intelligence unit, James Jesus Angleton, was looking for a suspected Soviet Mole. James Jesus (“the Ghost”) came up with an elaborate idea to ferret out the mole and the funding, logistics and planning to find the mole were arranged by Richard Bissell. The plan involved sending a false defector to the Soviet Union, one who the KGB would have interest in as someone with knowledge of the U2 Spy Plane Program. Lee Harvey Oswald arrived in Moscow on October 16, 1959. He returned to the United States with his wife Marina in May 1962.

In the Interim, (April 1961) Bissell and his cohorts (Cabell and Dulles) had been fired by JFK for their execution of the Bay Of Pigs Invasion behind Kennedy's back.

JFK was assassinated on November 22, 1963

Cuban Veterans from the Bay of Pigs and their CIA handlers, from other attempts to kill Castro, are believed to have comprised the kill teams. Lee Harvey Oswald was the Patsy.

Richard Bissell was in the unique position of having the ability to both arrange for an assassination team (Bay of Pig Cubans) and the Patsy (Lee Harvey Oswald), whom he had known from the U2 Program and his use in the False Defector Program.

In any event, Robert Mueller's mother was named Alice Truesdale.

Robert Swan Mueller the 3rd, son of Alice, is therefore the First cousin once removed of Richard Bissell Jr., the man who planned the JFK Assassination.

Mueller’s wife Ann Cabell Standish Mueller is distantly related to General Charles Cabell and his brother, Earle Cabell, the Mayor of Dallas in 1963.

The Apollo Affair, Missing Uranium and Katy Perry (Part 1)

Back in the 1960's, between 300 and 700 lbs of highly enriched uranium (HEU) disappeared from the NUMEC processing plant near Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.

It was eventually discovered that the HEU ended up in the Israeli's nuclear weapons program. (The best 10 minute synopsis and read, written by JFK researcher Jim Eugenio, is linked here. Additional background and source material is linked below.)

Through various cover-ups over the subsequent years, the full story has still only partially emerged. Although researchers have pulled back a significant portion of the veil, research into the 1956 formation of NUMEC and 1958 formation of its operating subsidiary, Apollo Industries, Inc., is minimal at best. 

The origins of Apollo Industries, Inc. we believe, deserves a deeper research dive, which is where Katy Perry comes in.

Part 1 (Part 2)

Katy Perry is not a significant character in The Apollo Affair, so in order to get to the more interesting players, we'll quickly address her spurious connections. She does show up in some conspiracy discussions on Reddit threads, primarily with respect to occult or Illuminati symbolism in her songs and videos. We're not a strong supporter of Illuminati conspiracy theories, or thousand year old "Bloodline" families hell bent on controlling the world with their Alien overlords. Nevertheless, if one broadly defines "The Illuminati" as families with a lot of money and influence, then Katy Perry comes from one of those families. (Like a lot of celebrities, her assertions of coming from humble beginnings is better for marketing than saying you got to where you are because of raw talent, rather than family connections.)

Briefly, Apollo Industries, Inc. was formed in 1958 from the merger of the following three companies:

• American Nut and Bolt Fastener Company
• Apollo Steel Corp.
• The San Toy Mining Company

The San Toy Mining Company was involved in a controversial litigious takeover attempt for about a five year period beginning in 1908. One of the principals involved in the takeover was Charles M. Schwab, who is the great-uncle of Katy Perry.

Charles M. Schwab was an Iron & Steel Industry "Tycoon" at the turn of the last century, known for first being the President of Carnegie Steel, then after the purchase of Carnegie by a JP Morgan buyout group, the CEO of US Steel (formed from Carnegie and other smaller Steel companies.) After a fall out with the Bank of Morgan in 1903, Charles M. Schwab founded the modern "consolidated and reorganized" Bethlehem Steel Corporation.  (The modern Bethlehem Steel was formed around the original Bethlehem Iron & Steel Works, which was originally founded in 1857 by, among others, Johnathan Knecht, the Great-Great Grandfather of Robert Swan Mueller the 3rd.)

Both companies, through World War II, if not longer, were the two largest Steel companies in the world at various times and essentially were the United States Steel Industry.

Charles M. Schwab is estimated to have been worth as much as $500 million to $800 million at one point prior to the stock market crash of 1929, in 2019 inflation adjusted dollars. He actually died relatively "broke" in 1939. He was known as a profligate spender and the depression after the crash wiped out most of the value of his holdings in Bethlehem Steel.

Although Schwab's "Iluminatti" status might have subsided with the loss of his wealth, his associations with Carnegie and Morgan interests made him a man of significant influence. Schwab, via Bethlehem, as one of the largest ship builders in the world, before and after the entrance of the USA into WWI, he likely contributed to the efforts by a core group of American industrialists to get the USA into The Great War, for the primary purpose of making a lot of money quickly.

Schwab Interest in The San Toy Mining Company

Charles M. Schwab was a prolific investor/consolidator/corporate raider in his time. It was characteristic of pre-Sherman Anti-Trust Act Robber Barons to control all facets, or "verticals" of an industry by buying out competitors and complimentary companies. Standard Oil created the model early on after its founding. In short, in order to maximize profits, it bought competing refiners. It could then tighten its grip on the petroleum industry by buying out oil exploration and drilling companies, the railroads and barge companies that moved the oil, pipelines, and then the downstream refinery businesses, such as chemical manufacturers, grease/lubricant producers, and petroleum retailers.

The Steel Industry worked the same way. Schwab not only owned the steel mills, he owned the shipyards where ships were built with Bethlehem Steel and the mines that supplied the steel mills. One of the companies that he tried to acquire was San Toy Mining Company.

We will devote another post to San Toy Mining's operations, and dive deeper into its ownership history, but for now, we will limit further details to Charles M. Schwab's involvement.

In November of 1908, Charles Schwab and his cohorts made headlines in the business pages with the filing of a lawsuit by the owners of San Toy, charging Schwab with colluding to gain control of the company. The suit was filed in the New York Supreme Court by two brothers, Alfred B. and Sidney A. Witherbee. 

The basic premise of Witherbee brother's lawsuit is that Charles Schwab colluded and conspired with the minority shareholders of San Toy to gain a controlling interest in San Toy, to the detriment of the Witherbee brothers.

The lawsuit, the attention it gained, and the lists of co-defendants, counsels, and related parties  perhaps provide valuable meta-data into the history of San Toy Mining, and how it essentially became a Mossad linked front-company used to smuggle Highly Enriched Uranium from Pittsburgh to Israel sometime between about 1958 and 1965.

Parties and Counter-Parties

As noted, the Witherbee Brothers are the plaintiffs, having filed the lawsuit in NY Supreme Court. The brothers were represented by attorney Paul E. DePere who was formerly the partner of Paul D. Cravath and Charles Steele, "who more recently been known as one of the principal counsel to the banking house of J.P. Morgan & Co." 

[As noted above, Schwab had a falling out with the House of Morgan while he was the CEO of the Morgan controlled US Steel Corp. It is not apparent if the fall-out (1903) and the lawsuit (1908) are somehow related.] 

The co-defendants listed in the newspapers at the time included:

Julia Child Movie and her Prud'homme Relatives

Netflix is running the movie Julie & Julia (2009) in its rotation and seeing the movie scroll by last night, and remembering their is a Richard Bissell connection, we decided to take a look.

The movie was mostly entertaining, but not necessarily a must watch. The movie is adapted from two books about Julia Child, including "My Life in France"  Child's autobiography written with Alex Prud'homme. The name "Prud'homme" automatically raises an eyebrow, since their are a few with that name in the Robert Swan Mueller family tree on the Richard Bissell branch.

Julia Child - OSS Spy & French Food Foody

Julia Child was born Julia Carolyn McWilliams in 1912 in Pasadena California and is best known for introducing French food and culinary techniques to Americans with the publication of her first cook book "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" in 1961, and her subsequent TV shows. 

Paul Cushing Child and Julia met in Ceylon (Sri Lanka) while both were serving in the OSS during the second World War. They were married in 1946.

After the war, Paul Cushing Child joined the State Department and was an "exhibits officer" with the United States Information Agency (USIA.) Julia became interested in French cooking after they were assigned to the US Embassy in Paris in 1948. 

The short version of the relationship between Julie Child and Richard Bissell is; Paul Cushing Child's niece married Richard M. Bissell's nephew.
