I would guess that if you showed the average American a map of Europe, with the country names removed, less than 10% could point to Belgium's location on the map.

Belgium is small, and wealthy, like Switzerland, is known for making expensive chocolates, like Switzerland; shares a border with France and Germany, like Switzerland; and prefers to remain neutral in World Wars, like Switzerland.

Most of the important similarities end there. While Belgians prefer to remain neutral during World Wars, like the Swiss; the Germans do not care. It was the Germans "nonchalance" with respect to Belgium's borders, on August 3, 1914, that would eventually usher in the Rape & Propaganda Era of Belgian and American Diplomacy.

As described in "America's Political Dynasties" , the marriage of Helena to Edourd was the fashionable "Lodge" wedding of the season. (The less fashionable wedding was between another brother, John Davis Lodge and Francesca Braggiotti, who was an actress and dancer.)

The Helena Lodge and Edourd de Steel wedding caught our attention because of how one of the guests arrived, and where he arrived from. 

Prince Alfred de Ligne was the Belgian Ambassador to the United States from 1927 to 1931. 

Prince of Ligne is a title of Belgian nobility that belongs to the House of Ligne, which goes back to the eleventh century. 

British Hegemony, War Profiteering and Eugenics

According to a number of historians, World War I was started by proponents of British hegemony, of which, Cecil Rhodes and his protege Alfred Milner are considered to be the "modern age" founding fathers.

The strategy and intricacies of effecting the plans of Milner, Rhodes, and others, mostly associated with secret societies, are plentiful on the Internet. Very briefly though, a War was necessary to bring all of the Anglosphere, including the US, in to alignment with the Milner/Rhodes plans. The Germans made the perfect enemy and war began in 1914. 

Even before the War began, the British Hegemony Crowd was eager to get the Americans involved and it did not take much effort to get the support of the wealthy American Industrialists of the Day. 

No doubt, many (but not all) of those American Industrialists, could care less about "British Hegemony", but they certainly knew one could make a lot of money during a war so they joined the World War I Conspiracy. (If for the Americans, the promise of British Hegemony did not have appeal, and War Profiteering caused an ethical dilemma, then some of those powerful Americans in academia and government could possibly justify joining the war, to themselves, by considering the benefits from a Eugenics point of view.)

Even if British Hegemony, War Profiteering and Eugenics was enough to get a small group of Eastern Elites to sign up for carnage, the American Public didn't really see the benefits of rescuing the Europeans from their stupid war.   

The Kaiser is Killing Belgian Kids and Other Horrible Atrocities

No doubt the Belgians suffered greatly under German occupation. Many Belgian children were killed by the Huns and probably even a few by a Hun with a bayonet, as opposed to getting caught in the cross fire of bullets intended for the French Forces. Many rapes also no doubt occurred along with any other number of atrocities. Whether or not the Americans were ethically obligated to save the Belgian woman and children, propagandizing the atrocities, or "The Rape of Belgium" rallied the American Public to action. 

Propaganda may not apply to the entire effort to stop "The Rape of Belgium", as their was no doubt a significant amount of suffering in Belgium. The effort was organized around the 

Emil Franqui

"Commission for Relief in Belgium" in the United States, and led by Herbert Hoover, and the "National Aid and Food Committee" its Belgian counterpart based in London, and led by Emil Franqui (see Mueller & Bissell & Prudhomme – WWI Connections to the Rockefellers and Rothschilds).

Emil Franqui, as an agent of the London Rothschilds was likely instrumental in yelling "Rape" and getting the Americans into the war, to both stop the "rape", and as an extra benefit, advance the agenda of the British Hegemony promoters, Eugenicist eggheads and above all, the War Profiteers (after all Franqui was a banker.) 

The Belgians of Gibson Island  

Thanks to "The Rape of Belgian", a small group of Americans were able to make a lot of money. Daniel Sheehan of Watergate and Iran/Contra fame mentions in one of his videos (I don't know which one - will try to find) that he believes their were about 30 families that made astronomical amounts of money from the War, most of whom were already wealthy. 

The families that undoubtedly took their wealth to higher level, even though they were already rich, included the Rockefellers, the duPonts, the Morgans and Rothschild bank American affiliates like the Kuhns and Schiffs. Newly minted families, that went from "Well to do" status to "Tycoon" status include the Symingtons (Whitney, Orrick, etc.), Muellers (Bissell, Standish, etc.), Bushs (Walker, Pierce, etc.) and various branches of their extended families.

Prince Alfred de Ligne 

As the post about Francui and the formation of the Belgian American Coke Company notes, the special friendship between the American Industrialists and Belgian Bankers (ie Rothschilds Bankers), continued after the war, culminating as far as our research goes for now, with the marriage of a Cabot/Lodge to a member of the Belgian Diplomatic corp. 

That the head of the corp., Prince Alfred de Ligne, spent his summers on Gibson Island, with the families that also resided their, or eventually bought in, which are the same families listed above, suggests Gibson Island was a very important place. It's almost like it was designed so that Rockefellers and Rothschilds could steer the course of history in their owned preferred direction, like they did for World War I.

Philippe Edmond Jean de Nicolay,

We noticed that when a Rothschild could not find a cousin to marry, royalty would normally do, especially in the days before genetics were understood.

Given the size and availability of historical records of both the Rothschilds and the de Ligne family, we figured it would be relatively easy to find someone with both Rothschilds and de Ligne blood. Francois and Guy de Nicolay are Rothschild's on their father's side (photo right)  and de Ligne on their mother's side.

The Epstein Style Blackmail of President Woodrow Wilson - Bush & Mueller Connections Now and Then

We've spent a decent amount of time looking into the motivations behind the push to oust President Trump. We feel pretty confident the Deep State's need to get rid of Trump goes well beyond policy differences between Democrats and Republicans. The Deep State wants to get rid of Trump because he is a real threat to their 100+ year old "franchise."

The "franchise" is the ownership of certain key industries and the cash those industries generate, which allows for a high degree of political influence and the control of non-business institutions (academia, foundations, religious denominations.) High levels of political influence and control of institutions protect or allow the franchise to grow.

A number of authors, both esteemed academics, like Professor Carrol Quigley, and cranks, have argued that the owners of the franchise are not some amorphous collection of businessmen acting independently at a particular point in time because of similar or naturally aligned economic interests. Rather, some of the esteemed and the less than esteemed, authors have argued that those businessmen actively collude and conspire in secret. They have done so through organizations such as the Milner Group, Rhodes Roundtable, the Council on Foreign Relations, Skull & Bones and other secret societies.

As Quigley and others have pointed out, the World War I era provided a springboard for the owners of the franchise. We would argue that the out-sized profits earned during the World War I era for a leap in control of important industries, politicians and underlying government bureaucracies, and the non-business/non-government institutions.

Was Woodrow Wilson a Victim of Kompromat?

It looks like WWI was viewed by a loose confederation of industrialists and a few families with vast amounts of inherited wealth as the perfect opportunity to obtain permanent financing for the franchise. Aside from the mainstream view as to how and why WWI was started, and how and why the USA decided to enter the war, there is a decent amount of literature that Woodrow Wilson was essentially under the control of the industrialists and wealthy families. We have heard the argument that Wilson was under control for the simple reason that he was not all that bright and was a pushover. Another argument is that Wilson was blackmailed as noted in the last paragraph below. (Wilson being both "blackmailable" and a "dunce" is also believable.)

  

Original Owners of The Franchise are Still in the Blackmail Business

Every once in a while, a family wealth adviser will throw out the anecdote that most wealthy families will exhaust all of their money within three generations. That is, the heirs of the average wealthy industrialist in 1900 will have usually wasted, squandered, spent whatever they inherited by 1975 (there is no standard for years in a generation [roughly 20 to 30 years].)

Given the ability of heirs, in general, to squander, seeing the same family names associated with both the Woodrow Wilson Administration and Donald Trump Administration leads us to speculate, or even narrow down, who the owners of the Franchise were, and remain.

We don't hear much about Thomas Fortune Ryan much anymore (mentioned above as a financial supporter of Wilson) but the heirs and relatives of his associates are still coming up with plots to protect their positions of power and the broader colluding corporate franchise.

Thomas F. Ryan was one of the founders of the American Tobacco Company with James Buchanan Duke. He was also one of the founders of The Belgian American Coke Ovens Corp.

The Belgian American Coke Ovens Corp. is kind of an obscure sounding company and we are still looking into its origins and what became of it. Nevertheless, it was well capitalized ($143 million in 2019 dollars) at its founding in 1921 and its organizers consist of some of the wealthiest and most influential bankers and industrialists at the time.

Aside from Thomas F. Ryan, George Herbert Walker Bush's grandfather was a board member. The "prominent Belgians" mentioned worked for the Rothschild Bank and then there is Hector Prud'homme. The Prud'homme family is connected through marriage to the Bissell family (Richard Bissell was CIA Director of Plans at the CIA until fired by JFK over the Bay of Pigs debacle.)

Richard Bissell Jr. is also the first cousin once removed from Robert Swan Mueller the 3rd.
